1914 Wolgast vs. Ritchie "Battling in the Ring" Type I Glass Plate Negative by Dana Studios
Glass plate negative of Wolgast vs. Ritchie in San Francisco in 1914 while Willie RItchie was the Lightweight Champion of the World, facing Ad Wolgast, who was a previous World Champion. Writing on the glass reads "Wolgart-Ritchie Guffries Referee S.F. 1914 Box 48," and there is a minor stain but overall EX condition. This is a spectacular original glass plate negative from Dana Studios, the "Charles Conlon" of boxing photography, these 5x7" to 7x9" treasures are part of the greatest find of its kind.
