1907 Tommy Burns vs. Bill Squires Type I Glass Plate Negative by the Dana Studio
A glass plate negative, this is from the World Heavyweight Championship fight between Tommy Burns and Bill Squires. A paper strip along bottom is captioned "Burns-Jeffers - Squires Box 18." Excellent condition, it also shows Battling Nelson viewing the fight from ringside. From Dana Studios, the "Charles Conlon" of boxing photography, these 5x7" to 7x9" treasures represent the greatest find of its kind.
