1953 Baseball All Star Game Sterling Silver Trophy by Gorham
The 1953 Baseball All-Star Game was played at Crosley Field in Cincinnati and featured dozens of some of the greatest players ever to step on a baseball field, such as Mickey Mantle, Satchel Paige, Roy Campanella, Jackie Robinson, Ralph Kiner and Stan Musial. This trophy commemorates that special event. Created by Gorham, the renowned silver and crystal flatware company, this 9" pitcher has "All Star Game / Cincinnati / July 14, 1953" etched into its side along with a star. There is a slight indentation to the left of "All Star Game," but the trophy is otherwise in like new EX-MT condition. Bottom is marked, "Gorham Sterling."
