Tiffany 18k Gold Trap Shooting Medal
This Tiffany & Co. forged gold medal was awarded to Lawrence B. Smith on May 8, 1926 for Ninth Prize at the Amateur Trap Shooting Championship of America. Clocking in at over 1.8 ounces, this stunning award is contained within its original lock-clasp velvet holder. The medal itself is in mint condition and features a carving of a woman presiding over the American shield and a winged foot. The words "Amateur Trap Shooting Championship of America" are printed along the edge. The reverse side is engraved with the date, prize number and name of the winner. The clasp-box has "Tiffany & Co." printed in gold ink in the interior and is between GD and VG condition, while the medal is NRMT.
