Salvador Dali 1984 Olympic .999 Fine Silver Coin Set (11)
This handsome set of eleven .999 fine silver commemorative medallions were designed by the surrealistic Spanish painter. Each is a work of art depicting 11 aspects of sport: archery, track and field, cycling, pole vaulting, gymnastics, boxing, diving, equestrian, soccer, discus throwing and skiing. Celebrated the 1984 Los Angeles Olympiad, the original price was $125 each. Uncirculated, they are each 1.5 troy ounces and 46mm in size. The enclosed brochures describe each and certificate is included. The collection comes in its original case which is a bit tattered.
