Early 1900s Hogan vs. Burns "KO in the Ring" Type I Glass Plate Negatives by Dana Studio (2)
Two glass plate negatives portray "One Round" Hogan vs. Frankie Burns, in which Burns wins. You can see Hogan being knocked out in the images. There is writing on both in fountain pen on these undated negatives, which have a few very small areas of missing emulsion and minor discoloration. From Dana Studios, the "Charles Conlon" of boxing photography, these 5x7" to 7x9" treasures represent the greatest find of its kind.
