Lot consists of four pieces of correspondence. Two letters November 26, 1948 and May 10, 1949 on White House stationary with matching envelopes, are signed by Harry Truman as President with personal notes to Russ Stewart. Also includes a typed letter from Russ, quite humorous, on the day Truman’s election. The last piece is a typed letter on Harry S. Truman personal stationary from 1957 signed by him with a long, personal note. The condition of the Truman letters’ themselves, and the signatures overall are EX-MT. The White House h letters measures 7x9” and the envelopes are 7.5x4.75”. The other Truman letter is 7.5x10.5”.
